A crowning moment. An end and a beginning, wrapped into one senior year.
Traditionally we mark it with class rings, graduation ceremonies, caps, gowns, parties… and pictures!
You might find yourself tempted to cut corners when it comes to the senior portrait photographer. But by hiring an experienced professional, you’re placing value on the service you expect to receive. In return you’ll get a professional service: prompt communication, an experienced voice to coach your senior into looking relaxed in her portraits, and quality results. Senior portraits hang on our walls for years and are sometimes the last official portraits we have of our children. Don’t underestimate the value it will hold for you in the future. Hire a professional for your senior!
Making Everyone Happy
If I were taking your senior portraits, I’d remind you that there are three people we have to make happy:
- You (there’s nothing worse than hating your senior portraits)
- Mom (she’s often paying the bill and buying the new wardrobe)
- Me (because if I’m happy, it means I’ve captured you at your best)
PS to the Senior
Your comfort level at your session is very important to me. If you’re uncomfortable in any way, it’ll show through in your smile, your posture, or your eyes. So have a conversation with your Mom (or Dad) before your session to decide if it’s better for them to come along on the session to help keep you comfortable… or for them to spend that time sipping a latte concocted by the local barista. You guys get to decide!
Your high school senior session is a celebration and reflection of you…
…your accomplishments, your personality, your style!
